On the right are three character portraits, all in acrylic, each meant to express the DNA of the personality behind the face. The extreme close-up captures a wise and infinitely helpful director and biker taking a break from direct eye contact. The portrait on the right is of a master of an artistic domain that he pioneered, who accomplished great feats without ever losing the relaxed look on his face.

The work on the left is meant to capture my personal experience getting older. I am no longer a child, but hesitate to let go of that part of my life just yet. My childhood felt much more carefree than our present time. But at the same time, the past is losing its buoyancy.
